gayo.wiki needs no account and handles as little data as possible.
gayo.wiki (“the site”) keeps this privacy policy to protect visitors' personal data under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.
1. What we collect
- No sign-up. We do not ask for names, emails or any personal data to use the site.
- If you email a correction or enquiry, the address and content are kept only to reply (retained for one year).
- When newsletters or alerts launch, an email address is stored only after double opt-in and can be removed with one click.
2. Collected automatically
- To run the service (Cloudflare), IP address, browser type, request time and referrer are logged briefly. Statistics are aggregate only.
- Search autocomplete and language preference live in your browser's localStorage and are never sent to us.
3. Cookies and ads
- No ads are shown today and no ad cookies are set. Before any ads run, this policy will be updated to say that ad partners (e.g. Google AdSense) may use cookies, which you can refuse in your browser.
4. Third parties
- We never sell or share personal data. Hosting is provided by Cloudflare, Inc.; data is stored on Cloudflare's network.
- Video previews and playback happen on YouTube (Google) under its own privacy policy.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion at any time via the contact page; we respond within 10 days.
