Marks
A gold mark next to a name is a role gayo.wiki has verified. The steps below are the same for everyone. Marks never affect rankings or records.
Post a code on the official YouTube channel description or homepage; we check it automatically. Otherwise mail review (criteria V1–V2 published).
A code on your own channel, homepage or SNS, plus your name in our credits (TJ, MusicBrainz). Or confirmation by a verified artist or label.
Same as lyricists.
Register as a coach, then post a code on your channel or homepage. “Students” show only when the artist's verified account confirms.
Log in with a company email on the same domain as the company website, or be invited by a verified label account.
Rises only with answers accepted by askers in Q&A. Post counts and likes are not used.

Aspiring Aspiring
A label people preparing to debut switch on in their own account. It is not a verification, so it shows as text, not a gold mark. Once a release or karaoke listing appears in our sources, an artist page is created automatically and you can apply for the artist mark. Turn on in my account →
